I've been enjoying the Mechwarrior games ever since the BattleTech series game came out. Since then, I have played MW2, MW2: Mercs, MW3, MW4 and MW: Commander. I have also enjoyed reading several of the BattleTech novels over the years.
Before coming to MWO: Mercs, I started a clan on another game based in space that was in open beta. After enduring months of bashings by players who had unfair advantages due to ship items that could no longer be acquired, the clan I started finally to overtake the clans that had existed for years. Eventually, we stood at about 300 members strong, with the most powerful equipment thanks to our specialist crafters and we beat down the strongest clan in a base attack for an entire week.
