Can we have a list of confirmed control requirements, methods and customization.
As an example, I have dusted off the me old Logitech Driving force wheel and pedals and got new batteries for my wireless mouse.
Will I be able to create the following profile without having to get a program to create a virtual joystick?
Left mouse button = Fire left arm weapon (group 1)
Right mouse button = Fire right arm weapon (group 2)
Scroll wheel = Zoom
Scroll wheel left = Look left
Scroll wheel right = Look right
Mouse XY = Torso XY
This leaves mouse button 3, 4 and 5 unassigned at this stage.
Steering wheel = Legs turning
Steering wheel configured with no center spring, this allows a hands free turn when required
Left paddle = Fire torso weapon (group 3)
Button 8 (shift) and left paddle = fire le missiles (group 4)
Brake pedal = reverse 0 - 100%
Accelerator pedal = Forward 0 - 100%
This leaves 8 buttons and a digital direction pad unassigned.
An entire keyboard unassigned
This layout will cover the basic controls.
What other controls will we need?
Mech startup / shutdown. (I know this is in from the beta test story)
Are the jump jets assignable to an analogue input? and how is the energy and range managed?
I have been using MW4 mercs as a test bed but I keep reading, when researching other peoples configurations, that MW4 was not very customisable.
I don't really want to build a station with this control set up and have to modify it later.
