Hello MechWarriors,

I wanted to let you all know on March 30 and 31 I will be streaming MechWarrior Online for 12 hours both days to help raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for the fourth year in a row.

If you don't know what Multiple Sclerosis is, check out this link: http://www.nationalm....org/What-is-MS

This charity event is somewhat personal as I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) back in November of 2004. Although, my ability to walk is no longer what it used to be, I will also be walking the 3 mile (about 5 kilometers) course here in San Diego, California on April 8 for the first time since 2011. I know it doesn't sound very tough, but for me, it is.

The last three MS fund raisers I have done through Twitch have been pretty successful and have made me one of the top fund raisers here in San Diego over the past three years. With the help of the MechWarrior Online community, I hope to continue this trend and reach my goal of raising at least $2500 this year.

Any amount of a donation (tax deductible in the United States. Not sure about other countries) would be great. If you can't make a donation at this time, that's fine, but if you would help me get the word out by sharing the donation and/or Twitch links below with your friends and family, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, don't forget to watch the Twitch stream. The more viewers, the better.

Giveaways:
For every $500 raised (up to $5000), I will be giving out to a random follower of my Twitch channel their choice of a $20 Steam Wallet code or $20 worth of stuff in the MechWarrior Online Gift Store, https://mwomercs.com/store/gifts . You do not need to make a donation to win. You only need to be a follower of my Twitch channel and present. So, make sure you have a Twitch account and are following the channel, http://www.twitch.tv/gimpy21 . Posted Image

Streaming schedule:
March 30 and 31 from 9 AM Pacific to 9 PM Pacific (that's GMT -8)

Donation link: http://www.StompingOutMS.org

Twitch link: http://www.twitch.tv/gimpy21

Thank you in advance,
Tim "Gimpy" Beaudoin

P.S. If you want to keep me company or do a drop or two with me, I will be on the No Guts No Galaxy TeamSpeak server ( ngngts.com password = mechwarrior ) the whole time. Just use Control F to find Gimpy.

This is the "Thank You" post for all of the awesome support from the MechWarrior Online community.

My goal was to raise $2500 and we reached $2750 by end of the 12 hour streams on Friday, March 31 and reached $3000 on Sunday, April 9. A huge Thank You to everyone who has donated and everyone who has come out to watch my Twitch broadcasts in support.

If you would like to help out and reach an even higher total, you can make a donation through June 1 at www.StompingOutMS.org

Some special mentions to:
Sephrus - donated three standard Mech packs and one Ultimate Mech pack for giveaways.
PGI / NGNGtv - donated two standard Mech packs and one Ultimate Mech pack for giveaways.
Dacerz - donated a number of 24 hour premium time codes for giveaways and helped get the donation link out in Twitch chat on a regular basis.
The various people who kept me company and helped promote during the two 12 hour streams.

These were all done without me asking and are very much appreciated.

I did do the WalkMS event on Saturday, April 8, and have a highlight from my Twitch broadcast yesterday, April 9, where I share some pictures and bad video (camera was accidentally set to "compact" for recording video) is below. For the record, this was the second MSWalk I have actually walked in and I was last walker across the Finish line for the second time. I did beat my previous time of 1 hour and fifty-five minutes by 35 minutes. :D

Again, thank you all again for the amazing support. The MechWarrior Online community came through again for the forth year in a row and never ceases to amaze me.
