Just wondering if it makes a difference group cluster-wise. Anyone out there tried it? Is it worthless or is it worth getting? Currently using IS LB 10 X. I'm hoping it gives it a tighter group. If not, then I'm not wasting CB's on it since it's ideal for close range.

Short answer is no.

Long answer:
Increasing range does not reduce the spread.

The MG is the best example of this, but it has a COF. Increasing range only makes the MGs far more inaccurate.

Increasing the range on the LBX5 does not really make it any better.. if anything it is arguably the most useless functionality for spread weapons.

No, it's effective range (where all projectiles hit one component) is 100m.

LBX already has a huge range for its spread. No.
