Until TeH Devs admit they have a "small font" problem, all you can do, and I mean all, is run the game at a smaller resolution …

The game supports any resolution natively, that's from the engine
But the UI does not scale
I tried DSR with my GTX and couldn't see a thing any more ;)

What you could do is play in a window with lower resolution
Like 2560x1080, still 21:9

I have a 32' Benq 4k. I have to run it at 2560x1600 b/c of terribly small mechlab. Its pretty small at 2560, but just readable.

if you force another resolution in fullscreen then the picture will look more blurry
but
it's borderline ok I guess if you can keep a resolution that is 21:9 as well

if you can let the GPU do the scaling (well for me it does a better job in the rare cases I have to)

my tv uhd 40 is 16 : 9 .
I can play in 4k in 16/9 , but everything is very small in the menu .
I saw that the only resolution supported is 2560 * 1440 .menu is ok with this resolution.

but once you try the 21 : 9 can not go back more .

if you want the 21 : 9 I have to play in windnow..e the only supported is the 21 : 9 1080p.ma too small on a 40 TV monitor in the window .
i use 3440x1440 and i use binoculars for mechlab.

sadly it's also not unique to MWO

Just gotta get used to it. I was a bit disappointed to see at first when I ran native res on my ultra wide as well.

Now I wouldn't want to go back.

4k in this game is amazing because it removes aliasing big time.

in-game fighting it is all fine scaling

in the mechlab it's so tiny... :(

The lack of proper UI scaling is a very annoying problem in MWO. Makes using DSR/VSR practically a waste of time. On my 42" 4K TV, experience/habits are what get me by (I don't run on a lower resolution). 4K eliminates a lot of aliasing, but not all of it. I find AA still necessary as an option.

Now the lack of 4K-worthy textures is quite another issue altogether, but also very irritating. In some cockpits, it's like looking at RAGE-worthy textures all over again ...

The thing with UI scaling is that it isn't some ridiculously hard to implement, unicorn-level feature. It's standard and has been for years. PGI is the only developer I've ever heard say "yeah, we'll think about implementing that but it isn't important so it could be a very long time if we even bother to do it."

During their next town hall, people should HAMMER Russ about it repeatedly.

We going to get a 4K friendly interface any time soon? We've been waiting forever and this is a real problem that doesn't exist in any other game.

PC gaming on a 4K television is a bad choice to begin with and 21:9 won't scale properly on anything if it's not a ultra-wide display.

I have the same problem with my new laptop. So I downgraded Resolution on the game and it worked like a charm (sort of).

1900x1200-900 works alright on my gtx950M 4GB. about 50FPS+ with a few medium settings on and such.

Fulscreen or window

If it's full screen still then I have usually better results image quality wise to let the gpu do the conversion instead of the display

I think you had a Nvidia
So under the Nvidia settings for resolutions/display I think (me thinks where you can set custom resolution pofiles)
