R79T is actively recruiting players for our new comp team. MRBC season 9 is our first season, and we are currently Div E. We have many talented and experienced players, and are learning how to play together in an 8man team. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in comp play and wants to be a part of building a team from the ground up.

What you can expect: recruits will be evaluated in the following areas. 1) attendance 2)attitude 3)skill level. You can expect around 4 scheduled events a week, including practices, strategy sessions, dry runs, and matches. Our code of conduct is below:

COMP. TEAM CODE OF CONDUCT: AKA Don't be a Douche!

1. Be a team player.
2. Run meta (or equivalent min/maxed) mechs.
3. Follow the strategy, follow orders.
4. Respect the process, focus on improvement. This means;
* Constructive feedback in After Action Reviews between matches
* Process feedback after drops

ENFORCEMENT PROCESS

1. Pilots get a single warning about any violation (EVER).
2. Next violation they are asked to leave the current event (welcome to return for the next event)
3. On the 3rd offense, they are also asked to leave all future events pending a "court martial" vote to confirm ejection. A failure to leave when asked will result in IMMEDIATE ejection from the team.
4. Continued interference past this point will result in recommendation of ejection from the unit to staff, and/or a ban from the Teamspeak server.

QUICKPLAY PENALTY SYSTEM

Built for cross-censorship - swear jar for entire team so everyone regulates eachother. Every match is to be treated as if it is a comp-style drop. Your winnings for that drop are to be forfeited to the unit coffer if your comms are deemed inappropriate. Goal is to keep quickplay drops productive and keep team members in the right mindset.

QUICKPLAY PRACTICE

1. To be treated identical to an actual competitive match
2. Penalty can be issued by anyone in the drop
3. Cycle through dropcallers
4. Record for posterity

Check out our unit at our new website: http://www.raptorgalaxy.com/

Our primary recruiter is atomicleaf - send a private message on the forum is interested.

R79T is still looking for new recruits for both the new CompMode Qualifications and future MRBC seasons.

Sounds a bit severe and exclusive? Or, am I rading this wrong?

Any military players?

Please advise.

I don't see it as severe, since this is for their comp team, not their unit recruitment

The R79T unit is quite open, casual, and low key.

These rules are explicitly for CompTeam, and just our way of setting expectations as to the kind of Practice drops we run. We do have a lot of former and active military within the leadership position of the unit and that kind bleeds through.
