I'm starting to get a decent mix of mechs, but have absolutely no PPC builds yet. For a clan medium PPC build, seems like there are quite a few good candidates:

Viper VPR-B set of 8:
https://mwo.smurfy-n...c7280bb6915e9e1
quirks: +30% PPC velocity
Nice velocity quirk, but can only mount 1 PPC reasonably.

Arctic Wolf BLOOD KIT:
https://mwo.smurfy-n...2cf0b6f06dcd1fd
quirks: +20% MG range (eh)
Doesn't look bad. Has MG's for late game.

Arctic Wolf Prime:
https://mwo.smurfy-n...c6043c0255289a7
Doesn't look terrible. No usable quirks though.

Shadow Cat: SHC-P
https://mwo.smurfy-n...edd06603a08d6f8
quirks: none really applicable to the PPC's.

Hunchback IIC:
https://mwo.smurfy-n...c3340451f0996bc
quirks: None.

Huntsman:
https://mwo.smurfy-n...57f257abb989f0c
quirks: None applicable to the PPC's

Nova NVA-A set of 8:
https://mwo.smurfy-n...4ff4d0ac4acc2b3
quirks: +15% PPC velocity, 6% PPC heat, 5% Energy heat.

Any veteran thoughts on these?

For the lights, it looks like the Adder Prime and Cougar-H are meant to be PPC platforms:

Well, from my perspective the HBK-IIC and the HMN are the most common clan medium mechs for PPCs. They may not bring any related weapon quirks but allow for heat sink boating and thus up the damage you can deal by a mile. I don't go too much into targeting computers, because I want more heat sinks. I usually bring a Mk1, though.

The SHC is really hard to spot because its ECM, but it is a lot hotter than HMN or HBK. Still, ECM and speed makes it a lot more elusive and harder to catch.

As for a light I am quite fond of a KFX-S with 2 PPCs. The set-of-8 brings a -10% energy heat. It still runs quite hot, but other than the ADR or COU it can jump.

Interesting, KFX definitely looks like another possibility. Thanks for the perspective; now I'm leaning towards the Hunchback or Huntsman.

I use the Huntsman and KitFox( both are great)neither with PPCs. I prefer an UAC-5 or CAC-5 to a PPC. Good luck to the OP.
