If you go to the Sarna page for Class Six Champions, the table of champions has three columns: Period, pilot name, and the mech that the pilot used. It's mostly empty but only due to missing information in the canon, but equally important to the name of the pilot is the mech that pilot used. So why don't the archived leaderboards show it, and why do the ingame leaderboards require you to click on a user, go back and forth from another page to see what chassis and variant they are using? The information is there, why aren't we displaying and archiving it?

Well, that would allow to see which mechs are overperforming, so people might ask questions why other mechs are moved around instead of the overperformers.
I'm not sure if the search function for Solaris is broken, but it doesn't work for me, so it's a bit difficult to take a look at the lower and lowest ranks. Or to see how "many" people are playing solaris at all.
If the data was easily available for everyone to see, Solaris would look worse than it does look now...

When you hover over a name on the ingame leaderboards, there is a tooltip that says View Player Card. Clicking on the name lets you view the card which has the player's mech and loadout.
Questions were asked about the JM6-DD for Season 2. The JM6-DD dominated Div 4 Season 1, JM6-DD wasn't moved, JM6-DD dominated even more Season 2, no one has a clue why it stuck around for so long.

There's a bug (feature?) where searching by name removes the ability to see player cards. You can still see the cards by flipping through the leaderboard pages manually.

The data is available. Everyone who wants to follow the meta is following the meta. Nothing would change.
