Yup... Happy as a clam.

I cannot say how much placebo effect is present but in the roughly 2 dozen matches played thus far:

- Matches are fairly even (even with the occasional asymmetrical Mech classes).
- Active and viable chat comms.
- Players playing more "team" and less "me".
- Damage scores are more tightly grouped (+ - 100 to 200) versus the 400+ blow-outs.
- Far less DCs and farming...

All-in-all I have to say the longer load-times and the occasional "no games" are well worth the increased "personal enjoyment" this this brought to the table!

Kudos PGI team!

Just based on last night, while not all matches were super competitive, I was seeing the same names a few times over and I feel like the matches weren't gank sessions.

Fun stuff.

yeah im guessing at the higher and lower ends of ELO you will see the same names quite a few times, especially at later hours.

Last night I think during a certain spand of maybe 6-8 games, the same 4 premade groups of 4 people were dropping against each other.

If ELO metrics holds true, chances are there will be polarized minority pools at each end of the spectrum (really good and really bad respectively) with the majority of the community fighting it out on the big pool in the middle...

As such the "big" pool could swing either way... Either we'll see a lot of the same names or it will have a high wash rate as players either rise or sink depending upon their success.
