Srm 6 And Ac 20 Issue

When firing both simultaneously on an atlas (Both D and DDC) there is a large damage drop.
(Tested with numerous unit members and several unsuspecting puggies.)
When firing the AC 20 damage isn't properly reflected sections that were getting turned yellow to light orange in one shot now just turn yellow or worse don't register.
It also seems that srm's volleys in packs of 3 or more don't do full damage.
Just wondering if this is known and also has anyone else had this happen to them?

Had no chance to test it in a proper way but I got the same impression:
Alpha striking of AC/20 + 3xSRM6 does significant less damage compared to fire these weapons one after another.

hm... netcode back? i had problems hitting a raven's leg when i was runnign rigth behing him at the same speed. Leg was allready stripped off it's armor and yellow, but didn't die, no matter how many salvos i did put into it

Wasn't a light mech issue. This was tested with an atlas vs an atlas. Same with the Stalker, firing quad SRM's doesn't do as much as firing one salvo then the other.
Also,
The variant I used only had twin srm6's and a AC 20 but, net result was the same.

my damage per game has dropped when using SRM. might be an underhanded change to "balance" boating.

it sucks though, what's the point of an alpha strike now?

well at least missiles (both lrm and srm) don't go into the 900-1000dmg zone anymore.
but im guessing because of this bug (which needs correction)

well, the netcode problems didn't only occur on light mechs. With slow mechs you just wouldn't notice as drastically.

but what you guy describe sounds a bit different from it

Other people have been bringing up this issue as well in earlier threads. There seems to be an issue with simultaneous firing not registering damage...? I'm running a very similar build and haven't noticed anything personally - I've been group-firing the SRMs and alternating between SRM shots and AC/20 shots, so maybe firing over a certain threshold at once or using alpha strikes has something to do with it. It's also possible that my SRMs are also doing less damage than they should be and I'm just not noticing due to the general unpredictability of those things.

Hey Guys,

I have a very similar Issue but with the AC/20 alone. Im scoring hits, the respective area flashes but it did only minor damage. Feels like an AC5 or something of this category. About to do a Video showing this.

Seems its something broad to maybe all weapons.... ive seen topics with Pulse groups not doing much DMG...

Using a splat cat often it seems dmg is not registered....

i alphaed a trebuchet 4 times in the front to actually kill him....

So its broad to all weps and mostly alpha (group) firing issues.

This needs to be looked at by devs.

ac20 seems to be doing spread/transferred damage to a lot of parts, even non-adjacent ones. Then again the whole transferred damage system isn't working very well at all anyhow.
