It's still 2 slots for same effect as one slot T3. P2W

I still roll ppl in alot of mechs I run and I don't use modules at all. I just started using 1 module on mechs. One is equipped with Sensor range, and other is equipped with Adv. Zoom. Otherwise I don't use them. Plus, alot of mechs have 2 module slots and mastering it gets you an additional slot, so there's plenty of room for the coolant.

It isn't P2W at all. So **** and learn to play

The idea of accepting something because its "not that bad" upsets me. Its accepting the drip from the pipe because its "not that bad". What happens when the pipe bursts?
...If it scales linearly based on sinks, 20 sinks would allow 70% cooling in a single flush, although we've yet to hear what double heat sinks act as (whether they act as 10 or 20, for instance, if you only have 10 engine double sinks).

So, no, its much stronger than your post seems to realize.

Well if it scales it's reasonable to assume that "scaling linearly" means that with 30 heat sinks it still flushes 35% of total, and since mech chassis have built in heat threshold's it won't ACTUALLY be linearly more powerful the more heat sinks you get, but I agree the more heat sinks you have the more powerful the flush will be to the point that I am buying my first A1 EVER just to be ready to abuse this mechanic and show it's flaws.

Business model questions* aside, I can't see the ability to mitigate heat 1-2 times in a round as something that will turn a bad robot into a good robot. If you're doing it right, 1-2 alphas will not be a significant percentage of your damage output in a match.

Two alpha strikes from a mech designed to abuse coolant flush should equal a dead mech. Look at splatcats and six PPC stalkers. Two alphas strikes from either of them can potentially even bring down an Atlas through the center torso. Those types of mech builds will just become more prevalent as more mechs and variants are brought into the game. I don't see much choice for them later on with that sort of game play than to look at tripling mech armor instead of the doubling that they've already done.
