Does anyone know if the game supports Open GL. Since I Run Win XP x64, it's prolly better on my end to go with Open Gl over Direct X. Being stuck at DX9, is sort of the short coming of this OS, although when I do stuff for work, this OS is pretty epic. But hey playing MWO isn't work it's fun time with gaint robots XD.
So if Anyone knows about Open GL support can you let me know?

AFAIK there isn't any backwards support for you. Upgrade.

Nope. No open gl support in cryengine.
He doesnt have to upgrade. Why would he? The game itself is only dx9 right now, and will be for some months. And even after that, he can stay on dx9 setting. What are you talking about?

Dude just upgrade to 7 or 8. XP was a great OS back in it's hay day, but now it's just bad.

Yeah switch to Win 7, God no. Like I said Win XP x64 is amazing for my job, Win 7 on the other hand is a total trainwreck for it. Doing anything with Cooledit on Win 7 becomes so painful, I'd rather run a ****ing Mac.
And well, it's a shame they can't implement Open GL on Cryengine. Maybe Unreal Engine would of been a better choice, iirc it has pretty sweet open GL support.

AFAIK the game is DX9, so you won't gain anything.

Dont think there will ever be opengl support for this game, but you can keep using 9. There's not even dx11 yet, so you're not missing anything. even when they introduce 11 I dont think you'll be missing out on much.
