It seems Spiders aren't all that popular, and I feel there are some legit reasons for this... but it's still currently my favorite mech to pilot. The 5V would be my favorite variant, but I find the CT hardpoints very limiting to how I prefer to play so I recently switched to the 5D.

I found a build that works perfect for me, and figured I'd make a short fun video of me playing it in a match (was my 3rd match with it so only a few efficiencies are unlocked, and there's still room for improvement on my end) . The build plays exactly how I feel driving a light mech should be, and hands down provides me with the most fun I have had.

Currently with this setup playing by myself in pugs I'm at 1.25 win ratio, 2.6 k/d, with an average of 250 dmg a match.
