Seems like the Jager headbox is in more or less the same spot as the Cataphract, is it just that much bigger?

I even gave them a friendly reminder a week ago to be on the lookout for this. Highly doubt anyone saw it, but still. I wish Vegas had odds for PGI patch days. I'd clean them out.

Confirmed that the head hitbox is a problem. I was killed just now by a headshot from LRMS.

Yes, it's possible I know.

They were coming from behind me. Hit me in the back and destroyed my head. Lolwut?

There might be a bigger problem with headshots though. I took one THROUGH the back in a Cataphract.

Even knowing where it is, it's still too small or hard to hit.

The Atlas is supposed to be durable.

So basically, the same thing that happened when the CDA and CTF were released is happening to the JM6 then. :)

i've been headshot by streak-srms in the jagermech. that leads me to believe the head hitbox is overlapping the ct too much. my ct takes less damage than the rest of the jager in most matches. my side torsoes or head go before the CT does and all 3 of those targets are much smaller than CT.

aren't those giant fins part of the side torso's?

the jagermech is designed as an anti aircraft gunner... the cockpit is in the center torso, thus prone to head shots as everyone aims for the center torso... fun mech, but obviously had its weakness...!

(It was a commentary on the usual suspect responses.. actually a lot like what I got when I posted about the Catapult's Cockpit..)

I've noticed a large number of everyone 'reporting issues' all said it was from LRM's. Perhaps it isn't the head-box that's broken? Artemis makes me raise my eyebrows when I play in any 'Mech. Had the exact same outcome when I was playing in a CTF-3D as the new Jagermech.

Just sayin'.

Just played 6 matches with a JM6-A and havent had this issue yet, and i've taken a pounding.

What variant are u guys in that are having this issue? I'd assume they all have the same head hitbox - but this might be variant model specific as an issue due to some kind of error.

That's because the Atlas's cockpit is not in between the eyes... It's the left eye hole...

This is the atlas's left, not yours btw :P

(its basically impossible to fit two ballistic rounds say K2 dual gauss into that tiny spot due to convergence)

On the subject of Atlas headshots: I've done it, with convergence, in combat. At least twice. It's possible, but hard.

Jager headshots on the other hand are ****-easy.
