Two things:

1) When trying to equip a component on your mech that you already own, but have equipped on a different mech, prompt the user to choose between stripping the component from the other mech or buying a new one. This will eliminate the need to have to scroll through your mech bay just to find out where that dang XL300 is and then have to modify the loadout for that mech just so you can free it up, and then switch back to the mech you want to use so you can equip the engine.

2) (Been suggested before) Save loadouts for mechs. Then, when you switch loadouts (select from a dropdown or whatever), it does something like my first suggestion for any components that are not currently available in inventory.

Fully agree with both of those. If we could only have one I would prefer the first suggestion.

When I am playing I use several different Mech's (at least 9 of which use my XL300 regularly) I have to go into the mechbay, find the XL, strip it off the selected mech, save, go to the desired mech and install.

This just seems like unnecessary steps and some wasted time between matches. I would prefer to just select the mech I want, select the engine/component I want and have it stripped from other mechs automatically. (For a great example of this check out the system used in star conflict)

As this is would only be for some minor convenience I do not expect we will see it anytime soon if ever. But it would be nice.
