look everyone can say whatever they want about LRMs... I loved playing an LRM cat before this last big nuclear fallout followed by the chicken little the sky is falling knee jerk reaction to fix/tone them down even if only temp. The problem is this and it is VERY simple... I was in my cat just today on Forest Colony and had an Atlas in open water, Tagged, and line of sight.... 66 damage with 6 volleys of 2 LRM 20s... The damage I actually did was from the 3 ML I had... That is why nobody plays them any longer... Plus why would I waste my time not doing any damage or very little when the rest of the people playing are in poptart twin ERPPCs and Guass or 4-6 PPC stalkers that one shot anything. Then you could add that 8 out of 10 Jagers you see are twin AC20s... If LRMs were actually able to hurt something, NOT one shot it then people would be more worried about what they brought. As it is now people are not scared of them at all and nor should they be...

I mostly play mediums and also 100% none cheese builds with balanced weapons and such...and I still fear them. On Alpine I barely escaped a Stalker with 4x lrm10. If he'd be able to fire one more volley before I got into cover I would've been done.

But then again you're right. That Stalker was a few days ago and since then, LRMs seem to be dead. No need to fear what's not there...

During the matches today I noticed a considerable increase in lights. Where before you could expect to see around two, now there are often three, four and one time even five of them in the enemy team (or in my own, though for some reason that happened more rarely).

I guess this is quite natural, seeing a decline in LRM usage post nerf. Not getting damage in the thousands or racking up kill after kill is understandably frustrating for the former LRM users. :P

Anyway...NOW would be the perfect time for those LRM mechs to return. The battlefields are swarming with lights. While I agree that those are difficult to hit without LOS (line of sight) you should still be able to pick them up. There are so many and most of them are seeking close combat with the mediums, heavies and assaults. Also, there is a good variation in types. Not only Raven 3L, but also Jenner, Commandos etc.

So please LRM users...make a return. :P And give 'em hell! :P

LRM has no stopping power. Every match I see two teams run into each other and open fire. I also refit my Stalker to 4 SRM 6, 4 medium laser, and 2 large laser. Either I blow my target up or get blown up

If that is the case then there is something else wrong with LRMs... I have been in fights in my Catapult where I took 400+ LRMs to the face on Alpine and my armor was still yellow. However I have been in fights with the same mech that that one volley of what looked like a LRM 10 maybe a 15 cored my torso... So nothing adds up with them any longer and they seem like they are all over the place and very inconsistent.

Agreed, it's not yet where it should be. I hope they get the balancing right in the near future.
