But more to the point.
Why ask this question? It has been asked before, i'm not attacking you just interested in your motivations.
This topic like many here in GD is a bait for both PGI white knights, PGI haters (who i still can't fathom why they are here) and the perpetual gloom and doomers.

Probably not going to spend more in the next couple of months, either, unless Heavy Metal can actually use its speaker system - but I'm doubtful.

They offer us to play a great game for free or decide to pay. Where else do we get that? Imagine you go to a store and grap a game and tell them that you maybe come back later to pay or maybe not if you dont like it.^^
Thx for your replies hope we gather 1000+ votes

Because haters like to hate; which in turn makes it look like there are more white knights than there really are. I like PGI's work, but wouldn't place myself in the WK category, but I do post against the gloom and doom crowd, because I think their venom makes it hard for PGI, or others to find the categories that truly need attention.
If the haters made their posts constructive, with valid feed back then the game may be in a more advanced state than it is.

you're still missing an option, there's nothing for those who've only spent between 1 and 20, so you need an under $20 option as well to be complete

I was waiting 10 years for the next Mechwarrior game. I have given up the hope at last that it will ever come back. PGI dont give any informations of how many members we have or if the business is runnig bad or well.
The only intension to ask this question is that i am afraid of this project to fail cause this is what i was waiting for.
This game has not the fanbase and the comunity it could have because there is not alot promotion. When i tell friends about this game i often hear : WHAT! why didnt i noticed that Mechworrior is finally back? Fact is many people that would play it didnt even realized that MWO is existing.

I don't believe in premium time - I just never play consistently enough to warrant spending the money. I may not get to the game for a week or two, and I'd hate to have my premium clock running while I'm not playing.
I won't buy anything with MC that can be bought with C-bills. What some people call a "grind" I call "playing the game"
None of the hero mechs have really appealed to me. I would spend the MC for a hero mech, I just haven't seen anything that's really made me go "ooh, I HAVE to have that".
So I'm not opposed to spending more money, just haven't seen the need yet.

I get that, I do. I've been spreading the good word too. But my main question is why ask about the money or specific amounts. If it's about spreading the word why not ask if people have or will tell people about ti to bring them in, or just ask if people have spent money and if they will spend more.
I don't want it to fail either, but for some reason this particular question seems an odd one to ask. Especially since past experience has shown it to be almost guaranteed flame bait.

I would like to see them making an action like : When you get 1 new user you get 1000 MC but to do that they have to find a way to prevent multi acc like binding acc with ip.Or just make a promotion in gamestores or even tv.

you should do it as ranges
7-10
10-20
then you can start the more thans
ive spent $15 currently, $7 of my own money $7 from old gift card i thought was empty but wasnt.
ive figured excluding any REALLY good sales mech bays are only thing worth spending cash on. which $60 worth of those gives enough bays to have fun with this game for a long time. If they have MC and Mech bay sales i can stretch it even further.
Maybe if they have a trial by fire sale on a light mech variant i want i MIGHT buy it but id have to feel very lazy since its about 15-20 decent matches to buy the lights (i already have the most expensive one)
I could see myself buying a hero mech if it dropped to the $5-$10 range just for the C-bill boost. otherwise thats it
OH if they do a clan founders program i would possibly do that as well assuming i have the cash at the time and clans are implemented in a good way.
But im conflicted on whats a good way... Having clan/IS 100% seperate like Horde/alliance are, or have it your C-bills are all the same no matter what mech you pilot just your "side" depends on the mech your using.

once they start activily advertsiing i really think MWO will get a sizeable playerbase, But first they need a good starter mech system, Trial mech system as is CAN work but it would have to be only vs other trial mechs which they dont have the player base for yet. but in reality a new system would be better.

Next purchase will be a clan founders pack if released, partially since I now kind of regret not getting one of the original ones. Any other purchases are iffy at this time.

Implemented game tutorial for newcomers is very important because this game is a bit difficult especially the c bill mechanic. When you drop to 100.000 c bills because you have no idea what to do and waste all your newcomer boost for testing there will be a very frustrating game phase wich easyly can make players stop playing.
Another important thing would be a test it b4 buy it function. maybe a seperat mechbay where you can play every mech model 10 times in costum games without earning c bills or xp,gxp and midify the mechs however you want.
