That's a common bug that only happens to Dragons.

Not only that, but it copies any paintscheme regardless if it is hero one or not.

but the next mech to come out is the flea!!!! remember the order they released the concept are is the order they make them in game. the blackjack and flea are before the highlander so it is like 2 months before we get the highlander.

i see nothing wrong with hero first and add the others later. pay for early access is reasonable.

I LoL'd at this. Unpleasant bit of marketing for certain, but you know what? I like it! Hero mechs are pretty balanced in the game, not P2W by any means. Yes, it means you must be patient if you want the C-Bill version, the same way a kid must be patient for Christmas before getting that special toy.

Like I said, IF Heavy Metal was the ONLY Assault mech in the game, then there would be a reason to care. Since this is not the case, it isn't a big whoop.

The only people who are REALLY complaining about this, are people who REALLY want a Highlander NOW but don't want to pay for one. All I have to say to that is...patience is a virtue.

P.S. I did forget that this mech might be the only Assault with jump jets, but I don't see that as a huge plus in an assault.

Just hold tight, it's coming.

There will eventually be other assaults with jump jets. But who cares if it does. Everyone who bought a HM and has jumpjets on it has the same build as a Cataphract 3D; 2 ER PPC and 1 Guass.

That's a perfect marketing strategy.. I don't see anything bad in this, besides that it works and I really have to refrain myself from buying that horrifying pink thing to avoid the wait for the vanilla landers..

It's the best way possible to promote the Hero mechs without Cbill competition, and it's only a two week wait, considering how slowly everything happens in this game...I consider this a positive move.

Mechs are coming on schedule, they just changed the hero rotation.

It smells of an attempt to test different business models. If they find that it means they sell more of the Hero than normal then it's something you can probably expect to happen more often in the future. You know... Beta?

I see no problem with it. In fact I hope they do more of it in the future.

I understand other f2p games do similar things and some go as far as making items avaliable exclusively with cash for a short period of time.

So, PGI is abusing my mech for a marketing gag. They want that other gamers think that there are a lot of players with hero mechs.

I like it, and do not regret my purhase.

In two weeks when the rest of the line are released I will have already have one basic skilled (with leftover exp for elites) and have built up bonus money to help me afford two more of them.

Bring on the Hero Orion please, I want to give you more money.

I have no problem with this, we get the Highlanders in two weeks. I think it was a smart move from PGI.

I will wait until it goes on sale before I buy one, I bought all the other Hero mechs except for the Pretty Baby just to see some of them going on sale.
