What Does "(C)" After A Mech Variant Designation Mean?

What is the "( C )" after the Dragon's model designation? Never seen that before. Similar to the (F) for Founders? If so, what does it mean?

( C ) is a really bad choice, since instantly TT players are going to think 'Clan?'
( C ) was used to indicate IS mechs the Falcon's hastily (field grade) upgraded with Clan tech in the battle for Coventry IIRC
