im getting really sick and tired of being swarmed by light mechs that are too short at close range for me to get a bead on em.. if you are going to insist on keeping them that short then how about allowing heavy or assault mechs to put srm's in their legs. or separate the classes so i dont run into any of em.. im in an atlas d dc. i should NOT be getting killed by a light mech simply because i cant fire on it.. because its no higher than my giant metal *******. either make em a little taller or let me put weapons in my legs to level the playing field. and dont gimme that ballanced battle ******** either. there aint crap ballanced about this game.

lol. This is one of the main reasons people are upset about knockdowns being pushed out again.

Yes. Once collisions/knockdowns are back in the game, there will be no more complaints about this issue.

Nah, just put missile hardpoints in the mech's butt.

There should be a Hulk Smash button so mechs with arms, especially the Atlas, can just smash the ground and toss those lights a click away.

I'd rather like in my Atlas to be able to grab the little ******* as they run past. Would be awesome to grab one of those 3Ls circling you and throw him at his mate!!
Either that or let me crush the cockpit with my GIANT METAL HANDS!!!1
But on a lighter note, mechs with actual hands need a buff!!

This is silly as you can aim down there, just can't see where your aiming. Get on a ledge and shoot down, its the same thing. I don't see why the mech's can't bend a bit, well they can and do but we have little control over it, watch an atlas walk off a ledge, it bends over pretty far.
Also i want to play with knockdowns to see what that's like, it seems wonderful.

umm NO u cant genius.. in an atlas ddc you cannot aim lower than the bottom of the cockpit screen
and that floatig reticle crap only works half the time. i tried it out in training grounds..

Does it seem to anyone that some of the mechs in the game are slightly of the wrong size?
- the Treb being too tall
- the Atlas a tiny bit on the short side
... and so on, and so on..?
Yes, I know that nice image going around that shows all the mech arranged neatly one next to the other and all seem well... but that's just not the impression you get in game when you pilot a med and the cockpit view makes it seem like you are staring the Atlas at equal eye-level.
Edit: then there's this:

That's a line-up that seems right in size, whilst at the moment in game the Treb seems to tower over the Stalker...
