My point had nothing to do with his formatting, it had to do with the content of his post.

Specifically this part:

"Perhaps if more people would do this rather than cry in the forums,
we would see a lot more fixes to current bugs rather than experiencing
the General Discussion cesspool of rage and crying."

It just comes across like 'if everyone was more like me everything would be much better, look at how awesome I am'.

Ah.
Have you looked through the General Discussion forum lately?
Have you noticed the whining and crying about this or that bug?
If that means you are offended because I actually report my
found issues to the proper people to assist with this beta,
then I suppose more people should be like me...

Not that I am awesome or anything.
I just know how to do a job and beta testing is a part of
this particular hobby I have right now.

I'm sure you'll get over it.
:D

This thread is a great example of what bugs me about this community: I voice some frustration and try to point out that it's pretty disheartening that PGI has allowed some very annoying bugs to persist for the better part of a year without fixing them, and the thread turns into a flame war full of people bashing each other for the silliest of reasons.

Mods, close this thread please.

The shills are paid by a post/hour formula so it make economic sense for them to spam generic "It's fine" posts in complaint threads rather than actually read the OP. If you want to blame someone, blame capitalism.

I am quite upset. I have yet to receive any money for my "It's fine" posts, unless we get paid in tears.

Every hud/gui bug is just the clans running information warfare on your sensors. Not much pgi can do to stop the clans!

I imagine it's because your post is far, far, far, from unique, and offers nothing but more chances for the whiners to whine. Whoops, editing to say your thread also offers we "shills" more chances to "shill"

P.S. Why do Brits say "whinge"?

I didn't call Willie a tool I was explaining why the other guy didn't like him and describing what I picture in my mind when I read his posts. I even stated "I don't mind personally". Spend more time comprehending what you read and less time formatting.

Actually I think you've helped us all by illustrating exactly what a tool is.

Nice catch. I concede my toolish behavior

forgive me, I though for some reason that both those posts were yours, now I see that only one is.

However, my point remains. you were ignoring the topic of the post to insult one poster for arbitrary issues, regardless of whether you were the one who specifically called him a tool.

Welcome to general discussion. Join in the fun!

Seriously, though, My point remains, There ARE some long standing bugs, but they ARE working on them. The command chair Details just what they are dealing with, and that the HUD issues have a deep problem that's hard to locate and eliminate. Your frustration is understandable, but remember that PGI is made up of several teams doing several things. OF COURSE they are going to keep putting up sales, OF COURSE they are going to keep putting out more content.

That doesn't meant that nobody's working on the bugs.
