Yeah,most of the "Clanners" i know had grown up with MW2. I think i am in a limbo between the 40-years-old Battletech players and the new 12-years-old CoD kids who like stompy robots. I prefere the first guys of course

p.s. I was a child when i played MW2 so i had never understood that "Inspect the firebase wreckage" implied using the function "Inspect" (key "i" ?),so i never completed that mission.. I know another one who had my same problem.
I have the Matrox Mystique 3dfx edition,so is not easy to get it back to work. I managed to do it with my old PC but my screen was too new and the game resolution too low..
Now i play sometimes MW2 DOS with DosBox.

I mostly played with the Windows Pentium, DOS-box, and the 3D fx versions.They were all pretty enjoyable and I poured hours into the Trial of Grievances and both the Clan Wolf and Clan Jade Falcon campaigns. Sadly, they don't work anymore.

Always loved the Wolf side in MW2... No reason not to love it again whenever they add the clans to this one.

i've been Clan Wolf since... hmm. Young. My first introduction to Clan Wolf was through a quick TT game. I had a Timberwolf, a Dire Wolf and some forgettable light mechs. I sucked at using the ponderous Dire Wolf, but the Timberwolf was just.. amazing. I read some of the books lent to me by a friend of my father's, and I've been Clan Wolf ever since. BT took a long back seat during my teen years, but I got back into everything, and just waiting to pilot the mech that started my devotion to mechs, to Clan Wolf, and (in approximately 7 years time when the HAG40 appears) I'll give that Dire Wolf D a go.

I've been Clan Wolf since birth. (Literally the day I was brought home my dad played Wolf on MW2 and the image never left me). Since then I have bought the entire first 1995 Tyco BT toy series, Every PC MW video game, the 3rd Edition of the Board Game,
as many Unseen Dougram, Robotech, and Macross models as possible, the entire Wizkids 2003 toy series, and I'm going for the Books now.

I'm reading the book battletech "assault on the Imperial City" recently just started the book and the whole process of the clans to discuss and solve problems seems very interesting

Well, i started a poll in my Clan forums a few months ago and result that only around 30% of the people who voted are Crusaders. Little wonder then that Alpha Galaxy followed Phelan's exiled Wolves

When I saw this intro, there was something interesting I found out:


THE MAD DOG IS STANDING ON A CLIFF WITH NO SUPPORT!! Honestly, this is a bad placement for a mech standing there. Just imagine the pilot taking one wrong step off that cliff, the poor Mad Dog will fall 3 stories in water to his doom. Has anyone else noticed this!?

Many actually noticed it. It is one of the MW2 intros mysteries.
I ask myself: how can it get back on the higher ground?

Hey pbigzz I was messing around in youtube and I saw one of your Mechwarrior 2 playthroughs:

This was one of the versions I had as a kid. Had this game would have been in my possession, I would have done a let's play on it in an instant. Question, how come you paused on the Falcon missions? Was business calling or did you hate the Jade Falcon half of the soundtrack?
