First, a lot of people are already pissed off at the capping aspects of the game modes as some people think fighting is the only way to play the game. I think capping is essential to progress the game forward and to achieve victory. Secondly, you still get plenty of cbills for winning. There will be a time when you have accumulated enough mechs that winning is more important than cbills. Keep doing what you're doing to get the wins. Play the cap game, especially when you are a light mech.

Uh no? 25k cbills is not "plenty of cbills for winning". You need 24 games just to buy a PPC at that rate.

If they were that pissed they would get themselves in a light and fix the issue.
Why should the derp that spent the entire match standing on a hill and plinking at random mechs that popped out get more money than the mech that WON THE GAME?

Last match I got 300EXP on a win in which i capped between 4-6 bases... If I just go around shooting like another ******** I get more exp even if we lose .MAKES NO SENSE.

Rewards should be for each time you cancel an enemy cap (put it on neutral) and for each you cap for your team. Maybe also for each time you kill an enemy from the cap area while it is owned by your team (cap areas would have to be increased in size) For those who are gonna argue that people could use that to farm or whatever, the same thing could be applied to rewards given for component damage it just takes two people that agree to do it........
That kind of reward could actually be useful in the sense that it would motivate people to ATTACK AND DEFEND CAPS and not just fight in the middle of nowhere like I usually see (which is pretty sad).

Related to that is the stat "Cap assist", which seems to be really hard to qualify for. Or maybe I just don't get what it's representing... (could go on about the stats in general, but that isn't the point here)

You get cap assist if, at any point during the game, you help cap a base and then your team wins by capping. It's very easy to qualify for... but you only get it if you win by capping.

Exactly. If you lose, it doesn't matter how many freaking caps you've made or cancelled for the enemy team. If you win by annihilation it doesn't matter either. Pretty much a "**** you light mechs" on the face.

I just think the game would be a lot more hilarious if a premade team of light mechs with capmods could earn big xp/cbills for capping in Assault mode, while their medium/heavy/assaut teammates get almost nothing.

You want C-Bills? Play Assault and make sure you hit every enemy teammember once for assist points
