my buddy hit 1200. i broke 1k a couple times. really good rounds. it happens.

but i think my funnest round ever i did 98pnts of dmg hehe, and won the game for my team, in a spider with 4 machine guns.

Recently (just before the highlander launch), I started capping screenes of whenever I get 900+ dmg or 6+ kills (already have around 16-18 caps :>)
This was a recent one, probably not my best but close.
I reckon breaking 1000 will become far more easier once 12v12 comes in. Hoping to get a 1600.


Edit: The good 'ol brawling atlas (ac20 2xsrm6-Artemis 2med-las 2large-las) Old and faithful.

Did over 1900 in early beta with a LRM boat. Recently around 1200 with a D-DC. Mostly I use large lasers right now, the damage isn't very high on them, because most mechs die before I get 120 damage on them. So on a decent game I won't do more than 600. Doing a lot of damage is counter productive, you want kills and assists quickly.

pfff old screenies don't count, CB had it's broken momentssss. Lrms were a joke at one point. Come on people I thought we're here to talk top damage earned through honest play, not some cheap game breaking mechanic that any monkey can exploit. yea I also scored 1800dmg with a 4LRM15 awesome back when LRMS got a damage glitch buff, I wasn't very impressed, quite frankly I was disappointed. just my opinion. :3

Have to agree with lege. dealing so much damage was something I got from stripping all the enemy mechs AND THEN killing them. ^.^
Not very efficient. Still a lot of fun and shows a lot of fooling around if nothing else. but the highlanders are making it too easy IMHO. I've been getting 600~700 damage on average with them.

I've broken 1K maybe 8-10 times, highest was about 1700 during the LRMpocalypse, but I don't think that counts.

With HSR I usually end up between 300-600 with a couple kills--too much accuracy on weapons now for the big numbers!

Stalker 3H when it first came out. Only weapons were two Large Pulse Lasers. Nothing else. Back then they heated almost as much as ER PPCs do now. I went through the entire match with almost no damage received.

My record is 1248 in my Founder's Cat using ERPPCs. It was on Alpine and my whole team ran up the hill towards the radio tower and got killed. I solo'd 6 enemies and won the round. Unfortunately I don't have a screen cap (they all come out black for me).

Sorry, but damage doesn't matter. Kills and assists are what matter. I have routinely killed three enemies after scoring 300 damage. (Actually, my average is about 100 points per enemy killed.) Any more and you're just wasting time.

if you just press the PrtScn your image wil come out black... try pressing alt+PrtScn

it seemed to work for me, all my screen shots used to come out black

I've hit 1500 several times since open beta started in both my A1 Catapult (Splatcat) and Atlas DC (2 ER LL, 3 SRM6's). Yeah, I know it doesn't seem likely with that Atlas, but it can alpha continuously without overheating so while the enemy has to switch to chainfire or avoid firing certain weapons, I just keep alpha striking to multiple kills.
