there are already Apps our there that turn tablets into secondary monitors, even control/touch sensitive...gets my thoughts a-thinking....
I've seen them used for other games that allow a great amount of exporting data, and there's still latency issues, because you're not using an extension of your computer, you're using a second computer connected to yours over an itty-bitty USB line. You effectively have to program the thing twice.
I see where you're coming from, and in an IDEAL world, having that thing being a touchscreen-enabled multi-monitor thing would be awesome, but it's prohibitively expensive and over-complicated for little payoff.
Simply functioning as a second monitor
and allowing the game to natively export screen elements is the most cost-effective option.
It'll be interesting if it is a second monitor, I find it hard to believe such a thing could function over USB shared with a keypad and stick, it may just be its own utility running akin to the Logitech LCD keyboards.
