When i have been reading the forums i have seen people mention loosing stuff, when you get damaged can you loose things and have to buy them again? If so that might be a problem for me lol.

I think they'll just stay with a repair fee.

But, personally, I have nothing against having to buy the equipment once again, you know, it adds at least a bit to the difficulty of the game and I like challenge.

From what we've seen it's not likely (could be wrong though). Most likely it'll be a repair bill not a new part.

(I think)

First of all, it's 'losing', not 'loosing'. Loose = not snug or fitting. Lose = to misplace or not win.

Secondly, it was confirmed that Mechs never get destroyed and lost. You might see massive repair bills on a Mech that went critical, but you won't lose the chassis. Whether this transposes over to equipment/weapons as well, nobody knows.

They might be the same way, where they will require repair costs, but cannot be destroyed. OR they might go the way where if there's too much damage, the item is lost and needs to be bought again. Personally, I think they'll take the former rather than the latter approach.

"...destroyed and lost." Are you sure you wanted the word "and"? Also, are you absolutely certain the word "transposes" is proper in the sentence?

It would make for interesting game play if you had to buy new parts, and it would add alot of realism; but It would also shun off players who are not into extreme realism.

Not extreme realsim. Just a game that one can't look back to and say: " I played a game which difficulty was comparable to a tutorial from mid 90's." It's not some uber hardcore feature that is so hard to overcome only the bravest and strongest of all men on Earth could play with it in their game.
