He's just some immature internet troll who never sleeps. He's also probably very young.

I know he has the uncanny ability to make my teammates into terrible shots. I swear, it took them over a minute to kill his crippled Trebuchet and by the time he died, he had no armour anywhere and every component was orange or red, and he was missing a leg.

How it possibly took them so long to kill him is astounding. Just about anything Medium or bigger could have killed him with a single alpha to anywhere on the torso.

I'd say he's pretty good from what I've seen, though I don't think I've ever fought him myself other than the occasional pot-shot before the real fighting starts.

He joined me for a few drops yesterday, and it was absolutely amazing to watch him in game and especially in spectator mode after I died ... superior timing and accuracy.

Most people have no trigger control. They'll shoot a mech at every opportunity they have. You can make use of this by moving and torso twisting such that they can't hit your weak parts. Once they've shot, you can turn in and shoot.

Yeah... welcome to my world! :)

I could swear I was getting focus fired in every one of my very few matches yesterday, but there is just no way I'm that' recognizable. I'm certainly not a priority target for any sort of "skill" related reason, everyone knows I'm thoroughly average at the game. :)

Had to just be a combination of me being out of practice (and thus out of position) and my teams getting murdered fast, lol.

I have no idea how people score so damn high: get ALL of the kills? In case you haven't noticed, Koreanese is DOMINATING the Heavy and Medium brackets of the current tournament.

In my Jager-S (2 Gauss, 4ML) I can get hits with all of my gauss ammo and alpha people with lasers the entire rest of the match, and still only get 650 damage and 4 kills.

So my questions is what is he running that can do so much better in Heavy?

And what is he running in Medium for that matter?
edit: For medium he mentioned an 8 ML Hunchback.
edit 2: Koreanese dropped the following video about builds:
http://www.youtube.c...d&v=GjqaGK5E5AM
Seems like the winning Heavy mech is a Cataphract 3d.

Koreanese is the last thing you will ever not see if you aren't careful lol.
Dude is just plain skilled. ;)

I've played with and against him a lot over the months. Here are a couple of my observations and some from other clan members. Not saying any of this is accurate just what I've seen and theorized.

- Nearly always has a high alpha build, usually something he can poptart with from extreme range.

- Rarely drops solo as I've seen some of the same names on his team several times, while it could be elo they typically also are in the same lance as him

- The people he plays with are skilled as well, if the match begins with focus on Koreanese his buddies will pick you apart while he draws the fire.

- Noticed he likes to not be with the assaulting force but either behind them a ways or flanking. Then he waits for someone else to be the focus while he picks off people, especially strays.

- Wondered if he sync drops because I've seen players on my side ignore him and his partners while they go after others. Something our clan does when we face each other and fight it out in end if any of us are left.

He is a good pilot with some great accuracy, I play on a 30" monitor and I can't make some of those shots he does form 800m jumping and moving while still shooting me moving. Add in some tactics and planning and you have a lethal pilot. I'm a hair from 5000 kills myself and when I take out the good pilots it always puts a smile on my face, and sucks when I'm taken down lol.

actuallyI play with bunch of random people on ts. I also have 19 inch monitor, 15 dollar keyboard and 20 dollar mouse.... not very high end gear. People ignore me? I make them ignore me. Its simpl really. I usually lead the front, take few shots at unsuspecting enemy. And when they try yo chase me down, I'll fall back behind my team. Now the enemy has no choice but to start engaging my teammates. As soon as everyone start fighting, I'm already in a spot where I can engage and not expose myself too much. If it all goes as planned, my teammates are heavily damaged while I'm fresh. Then to clean up. That's what I do in 3d or 4p. I use them as skirmisher, not front line troop. If I play assault or brawler I play bit different. Speed is the key. Not quad ac5 and 6 srm6s. I believe in balanced weapon combined with high speed. High speed let's you fight how YOU want to fight. o yea, before i quit playing (as of last patch) i had over 12k kills on the stats. By then you just pick up few more things then your average joe lol. I know the fights that cant be won and can be one. Player equally or similar skill as me running a highlander sniper? Im not going to try fighting him. Because the chance of me loosing is far greater then loosing.also, by now, i have came across lot of good players and i remebered them. what builds they like to run and their playstyles. I gotta all remember that and predict his pattern. I recently had a chance for 1vs1 duel. He wanted to have 1vs1 highlander match. Fine. People know i jumpsnipe a lot so figured i would bring a gauss and trip ppc. So he brought a gauss and 2 er ppc to hug and kill. I figured all this out before the match even began. I suprised him with gauss and 3 ll higlander and won. Lot of high elo player 1vs1 is all mind games... you have to know their strenght and weakness. How do you do that? Play a lot lol

Here's the duel he's referring to, if anyone wants to watch it (skip forward to 1:00 in for the duel):

Taking an ER for a duel starting from 100m...
Bad decision and bad player, he deserved to lose.

He got owned by the map selection too in addition, even RNG hates him.

I met him once in a PUG match and was soon destroyed in my Cent.
He piloted a CTF with JJs and some Big Hurt Weaponry and did well know how to use it!

I can't say anything about the rest of his builds but I do know that none of them have the tourney prize Hula girl in them...

Or so I've heard :).

Ive played with the man on Voip once or twice

he's a good dude, sounds around my age (mid 20s) relaxed and mature, not a troll

great pilot of course, but I do still see these tournaments as

he who plays the most matches

wins

if you are a good pilot eventually you will have 10 'perfect' games and be up on the charts

the better the pilot the less hours it takes

I cant stand to play this game for more than a few hours a week these days so....

maybe next time!
