Anyone else get the mouse cursor on the screen during match as well as your crosshair?

I get it all the time and it annoys the ### out of me

Yes. Very annoying, especially when you have your mouse inverted.

I've gotten this bug when I try to open the map with the B key. Hit B once and my mouse pointer is there, hit B again and it goes away. It's really horrible to get this bug with any of the other HUD bugs; playing on Alpine with no mini-map and no large map access sucks out loud.

With me it seems tied to alt tabbing. When it happens I find it happens with each subsequent match until a restart, or at least it did the other night and I tried opening/closing map, alt tabbing and losing focus on mwo then going back into it but nothing seemed to fix it.

I frequently got it until I started running the game in full screen windowed mode.

I would suggest not touching the mouse or keyboard while the mech startup sequence is happening... thats the only times I get it, and I've found that if I take the above precaution, it doesn't happen.

this happens to me on a regular basis running in windowed and window-full mode. just alt-tab like at least 3 or 4 times at the beginning of the match and it won't be an issue

I see this bug after doing the following: Set the game to Full Screen, start a match search, activate some other window (e.g. Alt-Tab to a web browser), click to switch back to MWO after a match is joined.

Same problem here. Very annoying especially since I have dual monitor. If I track too far outside the window and click, instead of firing, the computer switches applications. I think it's caused by alt-tabbing while match is loading or searching. And once it happens, the only fix is to restart the game.

Same problem, rlly sucks can't ever alt tab without risking my game getting ****** up. During beta the game would often crash and close if it was not in focus during certain sequences, that was actually less frustrating than this I think.

I found the problem that was causing this problem for me. The dpi in windows was set to 170% becouse im running on 2560x1440. After reverting the dpi to standard 125% the problem went away.

Edit

Didnt solve the problem.

I get this occasionally and I tab out a lot between dropping and startup (Fire Control on wrong profile etc) and I think you just don't want to tab out until you start seeing people drop into match. If you tab out too quickly after drop I think that is what causes it.

If you have multiple monitors, the situation is worse - if you torso twist too far in one direction, the cursor goes on to another desktop and clicking to fire tabs you out of the game.

If you really, really need to solve it then there is a solution.

There are applications that can lock the mouse cursor to a specified window and such.
One of these is Cursor Lock. You may need to run in fullscreen window mode to use it, but I have played fullscreen games where the cursor has not been locked to the main window before where multi monitors made the game unplayable, so I have used software like this successfully in fullscreen mode before.
