I didn't think I would end up using arm lock at all, but it does seem useful for certain configurations where you have similar weapons on an arm and torso that you want to fire together. However, it would be nice if arm lock was a setting for each individual mech, instead of just a global setting. Is there any plan for this?

Isn't shift key enough? Instant arm lock on demand.

a choice between a toggle and hold armlock would be nice.

Isn't like arm lock much at all, and would never consider using it on most mechs. However, there absolutely are a few rare cases where I would like it, but I'd want it on all the time in those cases.

I'm not interested in holding an key bind for a whole match either - not to mention I don't haven't any free. Shift? Weapon group 3. Tilde/numbers? Key throttle points. Etc.

personally i have gotten really used to holding that shift key when im in a mech where arm lock i useful and by now its almost second nature, but i do see how some people might benefit from having it as a toggle on/off rather than a hold down. might as well include it but don't take away the hold-down, offer both.

I had no idea about the shift key feature, thanks for that. I'll give that a try, but toggles for each mech would still be nice of course.

Well, yeah, I second that. Like in every shooter out there shift = run and caps lock = toggle run\walk, just for arm lock.
