Now I know what my next buy is going to be. Looks pretty sweet... and I'm glad it's bird-legged here. Never did like the standard jenner-ish legs for something that big. Woulda looked like the front half of a freakin' AT-AT. This design is pretty sweet, and I can't wait to see the variants.

Any word or speculation when this will be in game? I have a fat wad of cash from buying into the founders package after already owning my mech and its burning a hole in my pocket. Really want this mech.

I'm gonna guess in December considering it was announced right after the cataphract, and the cataphract will be unveiled in early November.

I never liked the way the Stalker looked but I piloted the 3H variant that uses twin LRM-20s alot of the time I played tabletop before level 2 tech. I like the redesign, it's better than the original, even though it looks a bit more like a Catapult on steriods.

Yeah, that's not going to happen. All of the STK variants are built around the idea of missiles and lasers, but no ballistics.

I love this mech, but I worry about the hit-box. I hope it's not as easy to kill as a Catapult.

Cockpit is not the thing that would hurt this mech that much, gigantic arm with most of the firepower are.

Actually the design has it's weapons fairly spread-out. They are split pretty evenly between the arms and torsos.

Better than a Hunchback for sure, but it's arms are really massive targets and you could easily destroy them from kilometers away, thus destroying it's 4MLs and 2 LRMs. The same applies to the light mechs, or even mediums, which could easily stay facing him from the side and it whould have no way of fighting back.

Plain and simple, it's a hammer mech. Those unfortunate enough to be in front of him evaporate in seconds, but if you're outside that pretty small arch (the hammer misses), it's pilot is in a world of trouble and hitting his own finder is the last thing he has to worry about.
