This poll is to gather people's opinions on were streaks hit the mechs during battle.
Any of the other changes, ecm, bap and all that can be discussed else where.

Now if you pilot a slow mech and don't brawl much in the circle jerking kind of fassion,
well your answer is always going to be center torso.

My gaming over the last few days had lead me to believe that streaks are still going for CT,
even when in brawling matches were my back is shown to the enemy.
I've had people say this is not true however I'm seeing this a lot.

I would love to gather the community's opinion on this topic.

P.s I think this is my first pole :)

Why do we need this? PGI already gather all the data, they can see what is happening. That is why a streak fix is inbound.

Agreed. Where did they mention that SSRMs are getting a fix?

Your first and second choice are not mutually exclusive. Just wanna point that out.

If anything needs a priority fix, it is the PPC + Gauss Alphas. You can find that in every match, as opposed to streaks.

well tbh PPC + guass is a long discussed topic.
This is not about priority but just gathering opinion on this specific topic.
Please try not to turn this OP into something else, even though its a better topic.

I see streak missiles go off-center and hit side torsos and arms all the time, but I see the damage concentrated very heavily in the center torso nonetheless.

Streak Change - Less Splash, More Damage

From here

I don't think it is already in. I certainly used streaks to quite some devastating effect today already.

In any case, my point is a poll tells us next to nothing where as PGI have access to every bit of data from every match. I'm not sure that trying to get people to vote is going to give you any insight into what is going on. At the moment, splash means the CT gets hit by a large portion of SSRMs. Make them do more damage but focus the damage on the section they hit, rather than making them 'lolz fire and forget' core spankers.

Making sure AMS takes care of them would also be a way to hard counter. Not sure if that really adds value, but it would certainly be a way to stop streakboating.

I'm not talking about side shots, more of backs shots still doing CT damage.
That the damage being recorded on other parts is low but CT is high.
Meaning mech has yellow-orange armor everywhere else but the CT (which has most armor) is destroyed.
Yes the damage is being spread to the CT but the spread damage is low numbers which then all adds up.
But if it was doing correct damage wouldn't the engagement end with the armor stripped off the mech or at least red as the target dies from CT.

"Streak Change - Less Splash, More Damage" - is that the fix?

This is just for gathering people's opinions, as I'm getting mixed info yet my game play is saying that it still registering CT hits way to much.
From a good few brawls, I like to play fast medium/light and I do turn my back to the enemy a few times during fights.

streak should track the closest component that it is about to hit.

None of the options really. I see streaks hitting arms and damaging Centre Torso.
