Man, no option for Assault/Light? I'm very stoked for both ends of the spectrum!

Only assault or heavy mech can carry 3 PPCs with enough heatsinks to keep the mech operational. So it will be Awesome or Nova Cat.

I like variety, so I'll most likely have one mech from each class. Currently planning on getting Stalker, Good 'ol Commando, Trenchbucket and Cataphract or Jagermech. Have Catapult as Founders.
I've mostly used heavies and assaults in past, as I like medium/long-range support-role, but I enjoy using light mechs a lot. Speeding around the battlefield flanking heavies and assaults is always great fun.

Hopefully the weight classes are well balanced, so all mechs and builds shine in certain situations.

I'll go with "Jack of all trades" !

I like to be versatile and useful in any situation... we'll see if it's possible when the game releases ^^

I'm a fairly well rounded pilot. I have no issue piloting any weight class of mech and will take whatever is needed to complete the lance.

That being said in MW4 I spent a great deal of time piloting a Cauldron Born (65 ton heavy) that had some pep in the engine. So um...maybe a Dragon as my primary ride if nothing is specificly called for.

Assault when I feel like getting into people faces. For everything else will use medium.

Unless an assault I really like makes it in (Warhawk), I'll probably just pilot the other three. Heavy fire support is already lined up. I'm sure other people would be better with assaults than I would be.

My vote went to "Heavy/Medium".
I based this on what I typically do in other MW/BT games: Run a Heavy "Support" or a Medium "Scout/Harasser" depending on what the situation calls for or my Lance is in need of.

But I have to say "jack of all trades" was a close send in my mind as I do like to "mix things up" a bit. Also as this is a new game I ultimately plan to try my hand at EVERY 'MECH! Mwhahaha!

Being completely new to this game, I'll have to say up front that I play to get into light mechs as soon as possible. For me, speed is always the key to victory. That being said, there are a few things game-mechanics wise that will heavily influence that decision, mainly how weapons accuracy and targeting work. From what I've seen in videos, they've done a decent job of making these mechs move like 80ton war marchines... slow and cumbersome. Without (currently) a rearview camera as part of the cockpit, I'm really looking forward to playing a scount, sneaking past the front lines, and harassing the enemy with hit and run tactics before my lance comes in for the final assault.

I' pilot almost everything.

Love scout mechs, love fast long range mechs, love superheavy brawlers.

I think ill try to get me a raven, a granddragon and one of the assaults asap.

I would like to specialize in something like an EW platform such as the raven or as a scout, but I chose Jack of Trades because I'm always willing to fill a gap in the team. Really though, until I play the game I can only push the F5 key and imagine my awesomeness!

Give ma a Puma (Adder) and everything will be fine. I could also live with an Uziel.

I'm more of a heavy support. Give me a Vulture anyday, and i'll be happy. But it looks like i'll be waiting a while for that! :P Although, I must say, I do enjoy running in a Shadow Cat!

An assault mech can be fun but I tend to have more pure enjoyment of late while running around in my centurion. Not quite as much speed as I would like and I don't hit quite as hard as a HBK-4G but when I got my A-game on I'm a force on the field to be reckoned with. And then there's something to be said about those little guys spotting targets for the fire supporters and generating havoc for the big guys. I'm pretty much all over the field in what I like to play but in the end it seems my Centurion has the most pilot EXP at the moment and I'm having fun with that. Just find an assault to "escort" into battle and I'm bound to at least make some nice sized dents in someone's armor before I go down. That is, if I go down at all.

I roll heavy mechs. Most the heavies announced thus far are....lacking.
