BY the way, JJ''s were always intended to be a small advantage in fighting, making them this combat ineffective to solve the problems of the loudest group of whiners on the forums is laughable.
Hey PGI. do me a fun favor, source up the people complaining about "pop-tarts", as in get their names and look at their game metrics, give this change 2 weeks, then check out the same players metrics. I BET THEY STILL SUCK AT THE GAME. I also bet they are complaining about some other thing that's making them loose a lot.
No. It wasnt good. That's like saying Halo: Reach was a good game because of Armor Lock.
The game was stupid, mad people quit playing it because of poptar.dmania, the **** is over. deal with it.
When 6 out of 10 people are using the same 3 mechs and the exact same tactics that means the game is broken.

This is not the fix we needed. Try harder PGI. We'll take this as a temporary fix while you sift through the many viable suggestions for fixing the root cause of the problems with pop tarting (hint, it's not JJ).

yeah the reticule shake is a bit extreme when JJ'ing, but ok when u drop down.
the screen shake didnt felt so BAD either... maybe because it was a light mech... but still, the shake was much needed.

Why even bother having Classes or variants, your making mech combat so vanilla there is little point to playing.
ahhhh....no more mech4 meta for you...finaly this is starting to feel like a real mechwarrior, STARTING key word here
