I just put one of these weapons on my mech and realized that it's max range is not 3x the optimal range like every other AC weapon. I also tried it on the testing grounds and it is only 1700.
AC2 - 720 - 2160
AC5 - 620 - 1700 Should be 1860
AC10 - 450 - 1350
AC20 - 270 - 810
Was this just overlooked or is there some short of reasoning behind it.

This should be in the support and feedback section.
With that said, it's an oversight, since the values are configured independently, and thus are not following the range "rules" currently set by PGI.

Can we get some Dev attention to this post? Been languishing here. Is this just an error in mechlab, or are the actual weapon stats off? And why give the AC/5 only 20 extra meters on the ultra? Ultra is already better in every other way. Equalizing the range was a good move, but give it some more love.

The AC/5 is approaching non-legacy status already, its the UAC/5 or Ultra's in general that need to be re-implemented.
