So... you complain about something that gets eaten alive that is:

1) Short ranged
2) Is usually poorly armored
3) Limited to two mechs, of which one is the most common and has squishy torsos... the other that is naturally slower than molasses due to not being able to use XL AND has a wickedly easy to shoot CT.

Next thing you'll tell me that common mech that usually runs them is OP somehow right?

Too much whining, not enough dakka.

Don't forget the K2 cockpit which is the size of Texas.

OP just wait til 3 ac/20 Victors...

It won't be able to do it. One ballistic mount is in the left arm, but both MG's are in the same torso (and one source has them in the CT). Twin gauss/AC20 is all it will be able to do.

Try playing one.

They are hit or miss, and while capable of running through an entire team if they let you, they pretty much have to let you. If you get focused, you are dead. If you square off with an Atlas or Highlander or SplatCat - who can aim - you are toast. If you get a light on your back and no help, toast.

If the opposing players allow you to shoot them in the face, repeatedly, while unable to hit a 70kph target less than 300m from them... you rule the scoreboard.

They are not "OP" just brutally effective at one thing and one thing only. Don't let them do that thing.

Hit or miss is exactly how I would describe them.

There are a couple of general builds where if left to their own devices will absolutely devastate your team. Those 4-6 PPC stalker boats are one, and ac/40 builds are another. You have to be cognizant of them and do your best to take them out ASAP or everyone on your team starts losing side torsos left and right. This is especially true in Pugs where there is less communication and coordination.

I just make it a point to avoid attacking just about ANYTHING (except spiders and commandos) head-on. Skirt, flank, deke, whatever you have to do. The best shot to take is one where they can't shoot back.
