It's basically the London Philharmonic Orchestra doing covers of some of the most iconic songs from some of the great games ever made.
I am listening to it right now, and I am enjoying the selection of music they have. Not every song is a hit though... I think their piano choice destroyed the version of One Final Effort that they covered from the Halo 3 soundtrack. However, you should hear what they do with the Tetris cover... I think it's awesome!
Anyhow, just a thought.
Oh, and the cover art may be the best part of the whole package.
