I'm currently playing around with a Cent 9A and am mounting a Gauss on the right arm. My aim is quite a bit worse in comparison to my YLW and I attribute that how squirrely the arms are in relation to the torso twist. I was wondering if it could be implemented to create an arm lock setting where only the lower arm actuator is locked but not the upper. Effectively making the 9D act like a YLW. I don't want to remove the actuator just lock it down.

I think this has been discussed already but I'd love a toggle turn off and on arm lock rather than having to hold a button down.

So effectively a horizontal arm lock only option? I could see that being useful for some, good idea.

Try running with arm lock on, and the use shift when you need to move the arms? You'll still have the vertical component but there's a degree to which controlling that should be part of the game. Might be worth turning your mouse sensitivity down though if you find your aim squirrely - MWO doesn't work so well with normal-FPS levels of mouse sensitivity.

Try mounting an AC10 and see if the problem gets less severe. Pretty sure gauss rifles have a fire delay of a quarter second or so. I hit just fine with ac's but miss like a machine whaen I mount a gauss rifle.
