currently chainfire is set to 0.5 seconds, this is simply to suggest that we be allowed to change this in the options menu so that you could set it anywhere from 0.1 up to 2.0 seconds (or higher, UAC20 being the longest delay i can think of that would need addressing down the track).

Players are already doing this through 3rd party devices/macros either hardware or software based so it isnt a question of balance, just leveling playing field a bit.

This is of benefit to anyone that wants to stagger fire on either large groups (9 ML's or 6+ SL's) or fast firing weapons like ac2's or uac5's that you can't currently use to their fullest with the current fixed 0.5 second delay.

This would also apply to "holding down" a firegroup so that you could set it properly for UAC's.

you'd still have the option (like the current system) of clicking the button faster if you wanted to fire quicker than your default chainfire delay.

i would prefer it be in the mech lab so that i could set it on per mech basis.
