On the credit purchasing page, I select my country (not sure why that matters), I select the amount of credits I want to purchase, then click 'buy now' and nothing happens. I made sure javascript was enabled, it was, and now I don't know what to do. What gives?

yeah, I saw there was another topic that has some troubleshooting steps. I tried them and still nothing.

use the HTTPS version fo the site and it should still work, did for me last night even with the forum formatting borked.
