Here's the video...

Any movement of a 3d object and i get that strange stuttering/ghosting. I'm cruising along at pretty good fps (70+) and its really disorienting. It's been going on since I started playing several months ago. Any thoughts?

Card's a radeon 5870, just updated to beta drivers last night to see if it changed anything. Game still runs fine, but I'll be damned if it isn't making things a little annoying. Everything looks great so long as nothing moves :)

Thanks for the replies

Vsync doesn't seem to make a difference. Doesn't it almost look like stereoscopic 3d? I can't find a stereo setting in Catalyst Desktop.. any idea where I'd go to verify that's off?

Turn off Motion blur in the game.

Options
Video Settings / Motion Blur (between Windowed mode setting and directx version).

I get that if I set Motion blur to med/High (use the left/right arrows next to it)

(shudders)...

Now, if you are using a customized user.cfg, then it will need to be edited.....

I have the same thing going on, but I'm willing to bet it has to do with sweetfx.

So far the OP hasn't replied back nor did he say anything about having Motion Blur off, which is on by default I believe. That is the only I am able to replicate what I see in the video.

I have the same issue. I rolled back from windows 8 to windows 7 and i have manny issues like creepy 3d model rotation in loby(see the video), funny frame drops and about 20 frames less than on windows 8. I dont have motion blur on so i dont think MB is the case for me. Im thinking to upgrade back to windows 8 but then i get random freze of the game. Hmmm B)

sorry for the delayed response, I was out of town. I tried with another video card, no change. Not sure what it is, motion blur didn't affect it... I'll throw an OS on one of the installed SSD's and see if it persists after a reinstall. I'll post back here if I can locate the issue. I'll also test with another hdmi display to see if that's affecting it.
