Make it so it no variant can carry AC20 in arms (nor dual AC5 ultras), max AC10, due to arm actuators etc and problem solved for people worried re AC40 Assualts. We dont have to follow cannon 100%. I would love to have this mech in the game. Its a very unique design.

Don't fear the Dual AC20s...

Anyways as far as weapons go, the stock KGC-000, KGC-000b, and KGC-0000 all mount 2xAC20, LRM15, & 1 LL. The KGC-001 mounts 2xGauss, LPL, LRM15, & 2xSSRM2s. The KGC-010 mounts 2xPPC, 2xLB10X, 1 LL, & a LRM15. Those 5 variants are all 'more or less' in timeline.

If the Jager can carry it. why couldn't an assault?

Before getting too worried about the armor and support weapons with the AC20s, go out and take a STALKER for a spin. As long as they are supported and have people staying conveniently in front, they are nasty. The moment they are unsupported or get flanked, they are laughable.

An Atlas is not much better. Certainly, if they catch you flatfooted in the open, the KGC could lay on some hurt, or if they can get in a sheltered position and put their back to a wall. Area denial is what it was designed for. But it's wide side torsos somewhat negate the heavy armor (no XLs are viable in this thing) and the overall speed and maneuverability would be poor, marginalizing it's big guns, TBH.

What makes a Jagerbomb dangerous is the speed it can muster with those guns, and the high weapon mounts allowing it minimal exposure. The design, while I want it in game has all the weaknesses of the Stalker (low speed, horrid torso twist and mobility) and the Cataphract (low mounted ballistic weapon arms) in one package, with few of the advantages. The only thing really going for it (besides stunning good looks =P ) is the weapon loadout and being relatively short, allowing it to use cover to move (and snipe with it's Laser and Missile hardpoints)

Dont get me wrong, im not really bothered if it does have dual AC20s, my suggestion was due to concerns raised by others and that PGI may have the same concerns, that it could still be viable in game with changes and i would still want it. The design is great, id love to pilot it

And while we are at it ... we need a hero variant with a Steiner or Light of Mankind paintjob. Or both. And we need LB20-X little guns.

I can also see a very nice promotional video where it rises from the sea, slowly claiming the shore of River City and turning the nasty dark night into a blazing fire with the twin guns.

I as well, would love to see the King Crab and Crab on sale together in a crab bucket. It would be easier to build the KC on a scaled up skeleton of the Catapract (perhaps chan ge a couple of angles). Then build the Crab based on the Raven's skeleton adding arms. I think both mechs ought to be brought into MW:O and wouldn't be reseen or worse, unseen in this iteration of BT/MW.

That would be a good way to introduce it or could use the island map that is coming, lance of these and lance of sniper(highlander or victor with jump jets) with lance of fire support(stalker or awesome) could hold the city or conquer it.

No other mech do I await in anticipation for more than the crabs. I have absolutely zero interest in any IS mech that we know about for at least the next several months. Please PGI.. let me open my wallet again.

doesn't seem to be stopping the Thunderbolt or Battlemaster.

Secret is for those wide side torso to protect it's juicy CT, and for massive arms to protect them, so you have to work your way through to the middle. Hence my design for it. by the time You blow off 150 ish arm armor, side torso and internals, usually means I have had a chance to return the favor.

I thought two 'mechs a month was starting now? King Crab for the final assault in November :)?

The thing is, if they're not switching to two a month, the only fresh content that we know of between now and the Saber package is the moon/cybertron map, although it does look amazing.

Viable my arse and no meta bull, I want the king!
