9S
AC/20 (28) (or Gauss (30)), 2 LLAS, SRM6+SRM4 (200), 4 JJ, 480 armor
LB 10-X (30), AC/5 (60), 2 LLAS, SRM6+SRM4 (200), (no jets), 494 armor
9K
LB 10-X (30), 2 ERPPC (chained), 1 MPLAS, 2 SSRM2 (100), BAP, 6 JJ, 480 armor
1 UAC/5 (100), 2 LPLAS (chained), LRM15 (360), 6 JJ, 464 armor
I can always rely on the 1st 9S build above, but each of these others have proved very workable.
I had tried the 360XL, and the extra response and maneuver speed is excellent, but in the end I missed the weapons configurations I was able to pull off with the 320. And sometimes I've found that the higher speeds get me in trouble with too deep a penetration behind enemy lines (a weakness of my experimentive nature). Of course, now I miss the speed...
6 JJ on the K is a noticeable advantage for getting around terrain. For solely this reason I tend toward the K unless needing the heavier AC and missile configurations of the S. I've considered going back to standard internal structure on the K for doing more high-heat loadouts (requiring more sinks). Fitting all tonnage in when Endo is present is a tighter fit on the K than any mech I've used (since I'm not using huge engines that could hold extra sinks and the 6 JJ take up their space).

My reason from going to the 325 ( from a 350 ), I was running with meds, and some hvys only I was the one getting shot at
that and I must just be too old to pilot fast mechs

Why not upgrade to the XL 325? Gives one extra DHS slot. Totally worth it.

Here's a little fun game that I just came out of. Didn't notice it at the time, but the only survivors are Victors... ALL of the Victors that started the match survived (and happened to be on the same side). It was a hard fight, but I suppose that make us... Victorious?

To bring it back to topic, I was using a Victor 9S, 350XL, 4JJ, Gauss and 3 ASRM6s. Works well.

i only used the lbx-10 at 250m or less in the same weapon group as the MG's. the sole purpose was to take out as many components as possible on already damaged mechs. it did rack up some damage though.

my best 2 so far:
9-K
gauss w/ 4 tons RA
3 ML LA
SRM 6 LT w/ 2 tons
XL 350
494 armor
14 DHS
6 JJ's
BAP
9-B
AC 20 RA w/ 4 tons
2 ML LA
2 SRM4 LT w/ 2 tons
XL 370
494 armor
15DHS
4JJ's
after some more testing, i found that 2 LL work better with the gauss rifle than 3 ML. so, i now run 2 LL, 1 gauss rifle, 1 SRM 6 and 4 J's on my 9-K. it allows me to be more effective at mid ranges (300-500 m) even though i lose some mobility dropping to 4 JJ's. i'll use my 9-B for up close and personal.

i've run the exact same thing. it can be utterly brutal. played a conquest with it. the lance i was in took on 6 enemy mechs. we lost on points, but, out of the 8 kills on our team our lance accounted for 7, 3 of them being mine.

I actually got swarmed in it by 2 VTR's and a CPLT SRM at the end of a match. Took down the CPLT and one VTR, then my lancemates returned and chased off the last VTR, but my VTR was missing a leg, arm, side torso, most armor and only had one PPC left. I was surprised it survived all that incoming ordinance.
It's a VTR-DS, btw.

What I really like is unlike the Highlander, the Victor spreads it's heavy hitters out more. Sure they don't converge as well, but now both of my sides need to be taken off to disarm me.

I'm now trying Gauss and 2xERPPCs. Same old Same old.
I think I'll try AC20 and 2xPPC for a while.
