How about instead of advertising the founder's program as giving "early access" to the game, you say something a little more accurate, like "chance to get a beta key".
That way people like me, who don't read the forums very often and don't know the score, won't be pissed off after they click "purchase" and nothing happens.

You get early access on August 7th and nowhere on the Founder's order page does it mention that you will get a beta key.
