It has come to my attention recently that some posters have come down hard on anybody attempting to establish a unit of Tetatae Rangers allied with House Liao. Speaking as the leader of a branch of the oldest and largest Tetatae Role-playing Community in the American Southeast, I think it odd that one user could incite such hatred for sharing in the appreciation of the rich Tetatae culture and history as laid out in Peter Rice's Far Country.

In a forum where members can pretend to be bloodnamed, genetically engineered, vat-born Übermenschen, it is very distressing that simple enthusiasts of the very avian, and very canonical Tetatae are met with such hostile persecution.

Let's please use this space to peacefully discuss various aspects of the Tetatae culture and the union of House Liao Lowtax with such.

I wholly support this thread.

As a longtime BT and MW player from the days of yore, and an enthusiast of the cannon lore, I fully support the inclusion of talking bird men in this game seeing as how official they are to the in-game history.

Out of curiosity: How many members are part of this oldest and largest Tetatae Role-playing Community in the American Southeast?

Well the North Florida branch alone has 35 members, and we are fairly heavy role players. Though we do admit to also include non-cannon things into our games like Critter-TEK.

I see. Are there any swamp-people-roleplayers among that group too?

Can we call this epic trolling operation the "Tetatae Offensive"?

No Swamp People role players, now Toxic Avengers that's another story.

Gentlemen, please respect the wishes of the players that want to play their birdmen. Until the devs provide instruction about what is and what isn't cannon, it's all cannon, and therefore simply dismissing it out of hand makes you no better than the players that just want some unique in-cannon RP. At the end of the day, we all just want to shoot lasers from our giant robots.

I support the end of oppression towards my avian brothers. Squawk indeed, sirs. Squawk indeed.

It's frankly appalling that the Tetate are ignored or outright scorned by so many people. They have a rich avian culture and bring more to the table than the Clans ever did.

As proud citizens of the Capellan Confederation it is our solemn duty to express solidarity with oppressed peoples everywhere, even if they happen to be feathered. The Korvin Doctrine clearly states that we have to work towards the common goals of the greater good, so we should clearly accept the Tetatae as our comrades.

A worthy cause if I've ever seen one. May this screaming injustice soon come to an end.

Just wanted to show my support. I'm currently vice-treasurer of the New England and Canadian Maritimes Tetatae Role Playing and Cultural Appreciation Society. Quite a few of our members are looking forward to MWO, so I'm glad to see there is a Tetatae friendly culture within the game.

Its simply unconscionable the sort of repression our Tetatae comrades - nay, our Tetatae brothers, are facing in our shared struggle on behalf of House Liao.
