And on that day, there will be a glorious reckoning.
The Heavy and Assault pilots of the world shall rise up as one, and the vivisected limbs of Spiders shall be scattered before them, like chaff in a storm.
And the tears of the Spider pilots shall be many.
* Assuming PGI find any time in between more important things, like creating bobble heads and decals, that is.

Yeah, they should definitely put the art guys on the HSR and hit box problems. I'm sure they'd get it all straightened out in a jiffy!

FTFY.
Right after the Stat rewind went into effect I was a Light killing monster. Now, not so much.

And on that very same day, these very same Heavy and Assault pilots will find out that not all Spider pilots are created equal. They will find out to their utter horror that some are extremely dangerous:

Now now, you can't solve all of life's problems by making them the size of an assault mech.

They can't get any ''better'' than they are now, with skilled Heavy and Assault pilots landing blows which do not register.

Yeah, because no business ever staffs up in important areas, by downsizing in unimportant ones.

That's two people in a row who apparently think that ''reassigning'' is the only way to staff up. For the record, you can staff up by downsizing in an unimportant area and reallocating the headcount budget to a higher priority area, or if cashflow and margins permit, you can employ incremental headcount in the priority area.
There you go. After this, the first semester of your MBA will be a doddle ;-)

That is assuming you can attract people with the skill sets you need. Pretty sure the "hiring now" button has been active for a large portion of the dev cycle

true but lights in general have reason because lagshield is here again, it's back in full force - coupled with disc and freezess. Other than new maps and mechs game feels almost as bad as it was in dec. trying out 12 v12 highlights the game faults and especially MM, I've never seen so many cowards hiding and twiddling thumbs in the back lines. many new players, people park behind mechs and pin front liners up to the firing squads when they need cover again.

I had yellow armour but then got cored to almost death simply because jenner and spider legs are almost impenatrable. LL's in general have been nerfed from okay to somewhat ineffective with the ghost heat and i'm pondering if that was neseccary. all i see is victor highlander gaussppc poptarts and ac20 jagerbombs and zombie cents. seriously if matchmaker gives you too many newbs you're sunk.

People complained about the good spider pilots before this current lagshield problem and once it is solved people will cry about the good ones again, only difference is it wont be the flavor of the month easy mode like it is now.

Fair enough. I admire good Spider pilots. But there are way too many Spiders at the moment, taking advantage of the HSR shield.

True. But do you believe that they've actually been trying to hire? Personally, my theory is that that button is intended to prop up the ''we're succeeding wonderfully'' storyline which is considered necessary for a F2P title to succeed.
(Personally, I hope they are succeeding. But the scant online player metrics I've seen, the way the matchmaker struggles to find me a game at my ability, the Phoenix cash-now-assets-later play, the addition of 3PV despite widespread community concern, the decision to launch with so much left unfinished, all make me think things are getting a little desperate.)

Given there was a lead programmer in there for a good while it could also support the fact they've been struggling through under resourced and explains a lot about why we're missing so much from the projected plans. Only the guys behind the scenes know for sure and i doubt they are going to spill either way for fear of losing further customer confidence
