Instructions: Take your time and rearrange the following words into the correct sequence:
LAUNCH
TUTORIALS
---
Now someone please explain to me why PGI / IGP are releasing the game first and adding in the tutorials after launch?
This is the incorrect sequence as just about anyone will agree.
There's been a whole year of Open Beta and tutorials have been asked for by the player base continually throughout that period. Yet haven't been given by PGI / IGP. Why?
Now with Launch only 1 or 2 patches away (Russ says next patch September 3rd) they are saying the first of the tutorials will be patched in but the bulk of them (as they say many more are coming) will be post launch.
This isn't rocket science, this is basic stuff and yet PGI / IGP are doing it wrong. Something so fundamental to the gaming experience.
Not having the tutorials implemented by launch is going to hurt any attempt to attract new players which they state in AtD 45 is their main goal. In fact how can attracting new players be their main goal if they are willing to forego the (one time) advantages of game launch?
This is a stark example of PGI / IGP always seeming to take the wrong road and make the wrong decision for the game.
