Well I'm still thinking if I decide to do that I might get Storm because there is at least mech that I would love to own but that just makes it even worse. Even if its not milking (I'm bad with terms) I still feel like a cow :) I'm not found of throwing money 20$ where I live is not small amount I don't have problem in paying for something I want but stick in that locust and I start to wonder. If those offers had flexibility to let me buy saber and SHD for price of lets say 50-60$ I would be all over it.

You can also get any of the phoenix/saber mechs with MC... you just don't get the fancy bonuses, its still the exact same mech. Its just a time shortcut.

I think the rumors of its demise have been greatly exaggerated.

If these rumors ever came true, there would be no Facebook, no Microsoft, no GM, and no America by now.

Folks who bought the Phoenix Reinforcement package will get a phoenix model for the Wolverine/Griffin right?

30% Cbill bonus and 10% Loyalty bonus?

The Saber package was an addon to the Phoenix package, you have to have bought the Saber package in addition to the Phoenix package to get the Wolverine/griffin.

One variant of each chassis is a phoenix model with the cbill bonus and loyalty bonus i think

thing is, when do we get the Saber pack? its been months since i've seen anything about it. it seems to have fallen off the earth. if id known i was waiting four months to get those two mechs, i would have not bought them. I bought the initial Overlord pack, sold off the engines and equipment I don't use, tooled up the variants of the mechs I wanted out of it (A shadowhawk variant and a battlemaster variant which is functionally similar to my Hunchy but with 30 tons more mass for DHS/engine/armor/ammo for the AC10.)
im seriously thinking of asking for my 30 bucks back, unless they can give some kind of timeline. I have not seen word one about it, which makes me feel a bit hoodwinked. at least the other mechs in the main pack were there like two weeks after I bought them (which by itself was a bit of a shocker as the indications seemed to be that they would be unlocked immediately on the server maintenance following purchase.)

The Saber package drops Dec 17th (A week from tomorrow). This was clearly stated on the Project Phoenix page when you made your purchase -- and can be verified on the first page of this thread.

We will get Saber mechs 17th of December...which means tuesday next week.
BTW it is in Project Phoenix FAQ and on page where you bought them...

Yes, and they have also paid it back already and are now back on top of the automotive world. The sky did not fall, oddly enough...

Paid back with a HUGE loss to the American taxpayer.

GM should learn how to manage a car company ! This is why Detroit is a wasteland now !

You don't see Ford asking for Federal bailouts !

I wouldn't hit a dead dog in the butt with a GM product ... except for a Cadillac or a Corvette ... the rest is trash !

Detroit is a wasteland because of their social policies. Even on the verge of bankruptcy their citizenry voted to take on additional debt to build a stadium. Screw them.

[coming back] What the hell does this have to do with Mechwarrior?

This is what progressive, liberal, leadership gets you.

The former Prime Minister of England Margaret Thatcher once said and I paraphrase,

The problem with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples money to spend.

GM is a Detroit (ie American) company, so even though we would love to push Detroit over to the other side of the lake and let you have it, I don't understand your comment...

Ford is based out of Detroit, just like Chrysler and GM. I am a huge Ford fan, so I am pretty proud of the high risk pre-emotive loan they took out just prior to the bailouts, but you are misrepresenting Detroit, which doesn't need any help doing that. There ARE successful companies there, such as Ford, but the social issues in that city are causing most of those companies to cut their losses and go elsewhere.

Also, a Cadillac is built by the same people that build a Chevrolet - GM union members - the difference being the price point giving more leeway for better parts and refinement on the Cadillac side, but it is not as dramatic of a difference as you make it out to be. A Corvette is built using most of the same parts as a Camaro, actually, and they are all taken from the same bins as most of the other vehicles in the GM lines. On top of that, most manufacturers, short of custom built brands, share the same suppliers as the rest of the industry, which is why the collapse of the auto industry would have been so disastrous to not only domestic brands, but also foreign brands that purchase from the same suppliers and would have had to pay higher costs to offset the loss of volume. It would have been like the Dark Ages in MechWarrior...(see how I brought it back on topic? You are very welcome)
