Hello! was hoping someone else has figured out a way around this?!

my "B" button (aka button 1) is configured to zoom, so even if i set something else to zoom it still zooms on B/button 1. which is annoying cause i use a b x y as weapon groups and it makes it hard to be effective.
Joysticks need a sensitivity setting please! the pitch up and down is SO SLOW! compared to how sensitive the lateral motion is. its very hard to effectively use the controller without some settings or dead zones. or did i miss em?

if anyone wonders my layout is as follows, as the default one was absolute garbage with multiple axis doing the same thing. feel free to use. i have found it to feel very natural.

Left joystick controls throttle axis and turn. setting accel speed to 100 with throttle decay making it very fps like.
right joystick is pitch and torso turn (needs to let me set sensitivity)
a = 1st group
b = 3nd group
x = 2rd group
y= 4th group
L1 = zoom
R1 = alpha strike
start = lock on
Back (where select should be) = scoreboard
up = night vision
down = thermal vision
left = ecm toggle
right = 3rd person toggle
z axis (triggers) = jump jets (all i could use them for really)

unused are the joystick buttons, altho you could set jumpjets to one of them, i just dont like them as i usually use them by accident,

in closing, please look into the button 2 perma zoom thingy please! (sorry if posted in wrong area)

*edit: said button 2 originally but its button 1.

Unfortunately, I have no suggestions on how to fix that.

If I can throw some unsolicited advice your way, as someone who prefers controllers over a mouse and keyboard, ditch the controller for this game. You'll be better off without it.

CHeck where you have the button mapped. If you have it mapped to primary as group one, and tertiary as zoom, it won't override it. Try remapping one of them to something else, and then mapping that button back.

Not to sound rude - but you might have better luck with the support&feedback part of the forums.

They have a subforum for hardware issues where I see a fair amount of talk about the 360 controller.

(I cannot help - as you could not pay me to use one of those.. controllers)

Best of luck to you though.

It's a gamepad, not a 'controller', peasant.
