I say this because a lot of people in game have no idea how to work with each other and use each strength and weakness of his lance mates and his team mates. Also, players need to be more spatially aware of their mech and its location. I.E. i was trying to back into cover with my dragon one round by backing up and going to the right. This did not work because there was a friendly catapult sitting there behind me launching missiles at the enemy that either didn't care that i was trying to back up to avoid incoming dakka, or was too newbie to even notice my dragon's ***-plate coming towards his face...Even though i was turned to the side to avoid ct damage, you know how it goes with dragons. Then suddenly the wild chainsaw/uac5 Ilya i was trying to avoid, appeared around the corner and promptly disposed of my center torso. Thanks whoever was behind me.

No ingame teamwork tools = no pub teamwork. Its pretty simple. Not even as much as a "mark target" button to indicate a focus fire priority for teammates. The chat bar is way too clunky to facilitate any teamwork at all the second any combat starts.
