Why can I never find clips of The Point to share?
Toward the end a guy says something like "he's got a point there judge!" which would have been awesome to link here >.<

Forty nine points in and my installation forced a patch and corrupt.. ..also started a thirty day premium today..... ... ... ... ... repair tool found issues... and still I get a version inconstancy. Yay..


....also this has been eating at me for some time now.. I understand I was two or three days late (thanks AT&T) to get the clan invasion bonus cammo and colours.. ..but why would that exclude me from getting a Phoenix and Founders coffee mugs? I was on top of those purchases and went whole hog on Clan.

yeah i have some random fatal error now

Ive run the fix for a third time, finds same issues every time... uninstalled, run ccleaner to take out the leftovers rebooted, re-downloaded the OnlineInstaller... going to start from square one.

Spent an hour plus downloading and installing followed by a four part update that launched into mechwarrior.. for it to tell me to exit and update. Update is quoting another hour... so seven hours left on the challenge day one and one hundred fifty one points to go...

I dont see the purpose as I was not seeking support, just passing the time and following the steps they would have recommended. Not to mention support is still in a huge and understandable backlog from the handover, so it could potentially get in the way of an actual answerable support request.

The causality will no doubt be linked to the longstanding issues I have with AT&T, the combined annoyance of 5-95% packet loss and their sub-par gateways attempts to hijack and poison cached web addresses(that it will then refuse to flush).

The upside is, now I know if the patcher thinks it sees a patch (because it does not see the correct information where it thinks its looking), close it out and reopen it until it it sees the version info its looking for.
